Here’s Why Easter Is Bad for Bunnies

This Easter brought a gift to the family. This little bunny Shadow had been dumped with his sister on a busy corner lot near our house. I had been watching him for 6 weeks after his sister got hit by a car and he was all alone. The neighbor and friends were feeding the little guy but his time was obviously limited. So I got permission to catch him. This proved to be difficult to say the least as he would not enter a raccoon trap, he had enough food.

Howard’s boys came to the rescue and between 4 adults and one delighted child we finally caught him! This Easter story turned out well for Shadow but I implore people to think before they get a rabbit as a pet and if it doesn’t work out, to find a good solution; NOT dumping the bunny on a farm looking property or park.
