One of the most common questions we get asked on a daily bases is “How do I trim my Dog’s toenails?” This question is usually followed by “My dog doesn’t like his or her toenails trimmed” and/or “Trimming my dog’s toenails makes me nervous or uncomfortable because I fear cutting the quick.” As a veterinary clinic, these emotions are completely understandable, but the consequences of long toenails can cause physical harm to your dog long-term health, especially on their joints.
